As I mentioned, I choose my winners by first noting how many eligible comments there are for a particular post. Then I use random.org to get a number between 1 and the number of eligible comments (today it spit out #11). Here’s how that looks:
The I head to the admin page for my site and find the corresponding comment number on the post. (Today, I was thrilled to read the 11th comment, the winner’s comment!) Here’s how that looks (I had to take a minute and block out her private information first).
