Doing Your Part for Breast Cancer

Not interested in walking or running for the cause? There’s so much you can do to be doing your part and you probably don’t know the half of it. Here’s another listing of things you can do for the cause. So ask yourself … do you:
- Recycle? Recycle for Breast Cancer: They’ll get you free prepaid shipping labels, envelops and/or collection boxes … if you’re close to Sam Ramon, CA, they may even send a truck over!
- Play Bunco? Bunco for Breast Cancer is a resource for those of you who want to donate this month’s pot or organize a new event for the cause!
- Golf? Birdies for Breast Cancer was started by LGPA professional Cristie Kerr when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003. Christie donates $50 for every birdie — and $100 for every eagle — she makes in professional competition. You can get in on the action with a pledge or donation.
- Work in a corporate office? Casual Up for Breast Cancer gives opportunities anytime of year for your corporation to designate a ‘casual day’ to help raise money for breast cancer and help fund mammograms for women in need.
- Ride horses? Hooves for a Cure encourages horseback riders to wear pink on horseback to raise money to fund mammograms and breast cancer research. Check it out. You could start a ride in your area or find a ride (currently set up in Oklahoma, Missourt and Ohio).
Now you tell me … what do you do for breast cancer?
