Indulge in Life’s Simple Pleasures
My kids have their Spring Recess this week — and though we didn’t go away this time, it feels like vacation enough that we aren’t rushing out the door each morning.
Yesterday, for example, while getting myself ready for the day … I lingered and indulged myself in a little aromatherapy. A mini vacation in the tropics. Here’s what I did, specifically:
In the shower, I lathered up with Mango Mandarin Bath & Body Works Creamy Body Wash.
Then, I washed my hair with Bert’s Bees Super Shiny Grapefruit & Sugar Beet Shampoo.
After, I dried off then slathered on some Sensaria Cherry Almond Body Lotion. Delicious.
I couldn’t help but feel pampered as I left the house. I thought perhaps I’d smell like a fruit salad but I was told by my best girlfriend that I smelled divine.
Really, as survivors, we need to do this, don’t we? Take some time to enjoy the simple pleasures in life? Indulge yourself, your senses, your skin … because you deserve it!
