Calling All Pink Ribbon Riders
Are any of you Pink Ribbon readers also riders?
Registration has begun for the 5th annual Hershey’s Tour de Pink, sponsored by The Hershey Company and benefitting the Young Survival Coalition! This four day, 200+ mile biycle ride is scheduled for October 2-6, 2008.
The group of approximately 150 riders will be riding from Chocolate World in Hershey, PA, to New York City.
Last year, riders included:
Brian Diegan, father of four whose mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in the summer of 2006. Irene Gormley, a Sister of Mercy, registered nurse and nursing home administrator. Noel Knecht was diagnosed with Stage IIB breast cancer on January 15, 2002, at the age of 34. Mari Holden and Kimberly Baldwin, two professional cyclists, also joined the tour.
Not sure who is riding this year … will you be among those that sign up?
