Want to Design a T-Shirt for the Cause?
If you’re at all artistic, and passionate about the cause like I am, then check this out: The Ryde is a Southern California lifestyle t-shirt company — designing shirts targeted towards good humored, laid back individual — and they’re about to raise some money for the cause and do their part to raise awareness of breast cancer prevention (yes!).
How you ask? Well, The Ryde is launching a new line of clothing called CHARITEES (Get it? Chari tees?) to be sold in support of various charitable organizations. The incredibly cool non-profit organization Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) is the brand’s debut recipient. The breast cancer “charitees” shirt will go on sale April 15th (that’s next Tuesday if you aren’t looking at a calendar and you’re reading this post the day it goes up).
How can you design a shirt? That, my dears, is the real fun part:
The Ryde is accepting design submissions right now. Your artwork must fit with the theme (”Less Tax, More Racks”) and, clearly, must relate to breast cancer. And, your submission must make it in by the deadline of April 14th (midnight pacific time).
The winner will be announced on April 15th and will receive a $200 cash prize and a $100 gift certificate to The Ryde. The second place artist will receive a $100 cash prize and a $50 gift certificate to The Ryde.
(Check out The Ryde’s blog in addition to their website so you can get a feel for their products — and purchase the t-shirt online next week once the winner is announced).
Who here has that kind of artistic ability?
